COSHH

Anyone at work can undertake operations which result in exposure to chemicals or hazardous substances. It is important to ensure that any employee's are not adversely affected as a result of any exposure which may occur. Employers are consequently required to protect both employees and others who may be exposed by complying with the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH) 2002.

The cornerstone of the COSHH Regulations is ensuring that suitable risk assessments have been completed and that necessary precautions are implemented to prevent or minimise exposure.
